Who's Your Daddy?!
Well it was worth getting up at 2:30 a.m. today. We drove to the Alburtis Gun Club mine hole and arrived at about 3:45. After we set our rods down and claimed our spot, we headed to the diner for some creamed chipped beef. At 8:00 it was fishin' time. Almost immediately, we hit into a school of trout and nailed 6 of em'. After that excitement, we were very bored for about an hour. All of the sudden, my rod tip bent strait down and Big Mama leapt from the water. After I landed it a brief period of whooping and hollering followed the incident. 5 minutes later, Reed landed a nice brookie that hit his power bait. My fish measured 21 inches. It was good enough for 1st prize in the club trout tournament. The prize is a free wall mounting courtesy of the gun club. Thats a wall hanger!

Well,it took almost a week, but we finally caught some trout. We drove on over to Swabia creek to help put in some stockies, and I managed to get a bucket in.I caught one of my trout almost immediately. The other one took some time, but I managed to smoke one out of its hole with power bait. Later, we returned to the fishin' hole to test our luck once more. One more trout nailed Carter's worm while he reeled in.
